Informal Classes & Continuing Education

For over 35 years, the University of Texas has offered community education classes for the entire Austin area through informal classes sponsored by the Texas Union. Classes are open to all, but there is a discount for students at the University of Texas or those affiliated with the University of Texas system. Classes offered vary from semester to semester and topics include exercise, dance, health, wellness, creative arts, computers and design, career development, business and personal finance, music, languages, culture and travel, writing, house and garden and culinary arts.
